Don't just read - leave a message and tell us your memories of Ernie, or just what you think of the site.

Have noticed your flag at England games and saw it at our place last season, the site is great and after the tragic death of Exeter striker Adam stansfield last night, i will hopefully use this site as inspiration to do the same sort of thing.
Keep up the good work!

Spoke to Ernie's family (his sister and father) during the World Cup - they'd noticed the flag at a game. The great news from us all at Factor 50 is that so far we have raised almost £80k - looking back to when I first signed your guest book when we stood at £3k I'm sure you will agree that we've done a great job so far. Our work continues. We recently joined with Rochdale and held our first Golf Day in memory of Ernie, again his family were touched by our efforts.

What a pleasant surprise to see the flag flying proud while watching ITV's England V Japan coverage.

To all at Ernieflag.co.uk.
I love what your doing, keep it up!!
Ernie was one of my closest friends, having lived and worked together as members of Colchester United Youth team. We remained very close from then on. I write to ask for your help and support. I am running the London Marathon and have set up The Ernie Cooksey Trust for Isabella, to raise as much money as i possibly can for the daughter he fought so hard to live to see. As I'm sure you know, he didn't quite make it. I am trying to spread the word and would ask if possible, you could get behind the project. Please show your support at www.sponsorformsonline.co.uk/theerniecookseytrust4isabella.asp.
I am staging a "pay-to-play" match on Sunday 21st March with friends and people who played with or against Ernie pledging £50 each to celebrate the life of my friend.
If there is any way you guys can raise the profile of the trust, I will be very grateful.
Keep up the good work

Great site lads. That is what going to football is all about. Have seen your flag at many England games too. Hope to see it flying high in Soccer City on 11 July. Good luck for the rest of the season.

What a wonderfully written report, great pictures and a great site, well done.
You Latics fans were absolutely brilliant all game, I don't think you ever let up. You are definitely what I would call True Football Fans.
I only hope that, should we somehow fail to complete our main objective of getting back to the Championship at the first attempt, you survive your battle at the wrong end of the table so we can play each other again at Carrow Road next season.
Good luck to you. :-)

Good report mate. We have similar sites run by for the non cabbage supporters such as yarmouthyellows.co.uk (if you look at the reports). You're right that too many "new" supporters think the day is about the game and not having a laugh even when you lose which up until recently we were well used to.
Keep up the good work with ernieflag and good luck for the rest of the season.
